Our first chat! What will we talk about?

If you decide to book in an initial chat with me, you might be wondering what it is that we're even going to talk about. Which is completely understandable because it's not every day that you're looking for a celebrant to create an awesome ceremony for you.

You might come to that chat with a whole lot of ideas and thoughts about what you want for your ceremony. You might come to that chat with no idea at all, and you might be somewhere in between! Wherever you are is completely fine!!

If you’re a person who has some thoughts and ideas about your ceremony, I would love to hear about them, as that enables me to let you know how we can bring that to life and bring that into your ceremony.

If you've got no idea at all, this is where we’ll figure that out together.

I’ll ask you some questions about the location or venue you've chosen, why you've chosen that spot, what you love about it and what resonated with you about that spot.

I'll also ask you some questions about how you feel about your ceremony. How do you want to feel on the day? Often people will let me know about ceremonies they've been to, or seen or heard of, and things that they like or don't like. For me, that conversation starts to paint a bit of a picture of what it is that you want for your ceremony.

From there I’ll let you know how we can create that experience for you and bring your ceremony to life!  I’ll also let you know how I’ll guide you through the process of creating your ceremony, and we’ll talk through the legal process and how that is applicable to your situation. I'll also let you know what the next steps are for booking in your ceremony.

So by the end of our chat, I hope that you feel really excited for the possibilities and for the creation of your ceremony. I hope that you know that you can have a ceremony that you absolutely love, that you feel really proud of and that really reflects you as a couple and is a celebration of you.
