What’s Involved

A phone conversation or email…

We’ll chat about where your wedding plans are at, the date of your ceremony, fees and what’s involved. We’ll also organise a time to chat. This can be either a video chat or a meeting at your favourite café or bar - whatever works best for you.

Our first meeting…

At our first meeting we’ll talk a bit about you, and a bit about me. You can tell me more about yourselves as a couple, and your thoughts, or plans about your wedding day so far. Based on that, I’ll give you some ideas about how we can work together, some information on the legal aspects of getting married, and answer any questions at all. It’s an opportunity for you to get to know me, for me to get to know you, and see if we click.

Planning, designing and creating…

Once you’ve confirmed your booking, I send you a whole lot of ‘getting started’ resources. It’s an email packed full of inspiration and ideas, questions, exclusive Pinterest boards, and examples from previous ceremonies. Depending on your style you might devour it before our next meeting, or you might delete it – either way is OK.

When you’re ready, we’ll book in a meeting to start planning, designing and creating your ceremony. We’ll meet wherever is best for you, and spend a good amount of time talking all about your stories, what’s important to you, and all the things that make you click as a couple. We then brainstorm ideas about how we can celebrate all that is wonderfully you, in your ceremony.

After this meeting, I write you a full draft of your ceremony based on everything we’ve chatted about.

We’ll also begin the legal paperwork and I’ll let you know what documentation you may need.

Next steps…

From here, you have a read of your ceremony, you let me know what you like, what you want to change, add or delete and we go from there. Depending on what suits you, we might meet up again, or video chat to talk it through, or we might go back and forth on email for a bit – whatever works for you.

Ideally, in the fortnight before your wedding, we’ll do a final run through of your ceremony. This can be at your venue, at home, or online with a video chat.

Then it’s the big day!! By this stage I’m just as excited as you are! I’m there for you to make everything go smoothly, to ensure everyone is relaxed, and to make your ceremony amazing!! You can just enjoy every moment along with your friends and family, as we kick off the celebrations with a ceremony that is authentically you.
